General Rules
These are the general rules and guidelines for the county. These should be understood and observed by all players, including staff:
VDM (Vehicle Death Match): Deliberately running over individuals with a horse or wagon is strictly prohibited. The rule clarifies that even if a horse disappears after being ridden away, it's not considered VDM as long as players are mindful of where they dismiss their horse.
RDM (Random Death Match): Attacking, roping, or shooting others without engaging in clear roleplay interaction is also forbidden. Randomly killing players or NPCs without any meaningful roleplay context is considered RDM. However, defending oneself against NPC attacks is allowed, as long as it's roleplayed accordingly. To avoid being considered RDM, players must engage in at least 15 seconds of meaningful roleplay with their target, ensuring they are actively responsive.
Hog-tying: Players are allowed to attempt escape during interactions until they are hog-tied. Once hog-tied, they can't break free unless given a tool or left unattended for 2 minutes. Alerting police while hog-tied is forbidden, except if witnessed by a local NPC. Pregnant characters cannot be hog-tied due to safety concerns. Law enforcement officers have a shorter interaction time requirement for hog-tying suspects. Roping or hog-tying is not permitted once gunfire starts in an interaction to avoid hostage situations.
Robbing: Certain activities, like changing clothes or performing job duties, make players off-limits for robbery. Robbers can only take up to 2 items from a player, with a cooldown period between robberies and limitations on targeting the same person repeatedly. Robbing wagons or horses follows similar rules, with a maximum of 2 items taken. Unattended wagons or horses can be robbed, but robbers risk being shot. Lawmen can search property under certain conditions.
Body Dumping: Intentionally dumping a player's body into the water to prevent revival by a doctor is prohibited.
Examples:
- Avoid dumping bodies in water.
- Refrain from repeatedly dropping a body.
- You're not allowed to interfere when a player is attempting to revive another player.
These rules aim to maintain fairness, realism, and immersion within the game world while also promoting responsible and respectful gameplay interactions among players.
