Owned Businesses
Individuals who own Player Owned Businesses (POBs) are prohibited from having a criminal record. While they are permitted to engage in activities such as robbing banks, forts, or selling contraband, maintaining the integrity of a business owner is paramount. If a POB owner is convicted of a crime and formally charged in court, depending on the severity of the crime and the outcome of the trial, their business may be seized by the government.
However, the possibility of regaining ownership of a business exists based on factors such as the severity of the prosecuted crime(s) and the individual's rehabilitation efforts. Given these considerations, individuals with a clean record or those who have successfully rehabilitated themselves may eventually have the opportunity to own a business again. This approach ensures that the gameplay environment remains fair and balanced while allowing for realistic consequences for criminal behavior.
